Musings

Choices

Lost in the wilderness of my mind,
I stop in a clearing to get my bearings.

The fog enfolds me softly in the moonlight,
As I stumble around from choice to choice to choice.

The dew drops of indecision blur my eyes,
And I feel the cold dampness of uncertainty.

I’ve no compass to show the way now.
There’s only the choice to make, and the chance to take.

About Bob Kallberg

Retired reporter. Concentrating now on recounting Joanie's 12 year battle with cancer, a battle she waged with extreme courage, determination and an indomitable spirit, that, for me, serves as an example.
